The past 25 years have seen increasing immersion in visual art as I transitioned from stay at home Mom to 'stay at home' artist.  During those years I gradually left behind anything that didn't fit the visual criteria, specifically, teaching Ballet and coaching gymnastics though not before they left their indelible influence on how I approach and deliver art workshops.

I paint in all media with a focus on landscape, still life and surrealism.  The rewards and challenges of painting BIG has always appealed to me, right from the age of 14 (thanks for the wall space Mom & Dad!) so I have an extensive background in producing sets and murals. It's one of my greatest thrills to immerse the viewer in a unique environment whether it's in a bathroom, commercial space, bedroom or the theater.
The northwest coastal town of Kitimat was home for 33 years.  I've been active as an artist, instructor, volunteer and arts advocate there and throughout the region, and as of July 2013 have located to Fraser Lake BC.
